I have used Garys previous versions on my 60CSx, with outstanding results, especially in my Biosecurity audit role.
However I have now installed the latest version which is visually superior, especially the red tracks, but I am inconvenienced in that I cannot simply "switch off" the land cover. I choose not to use the landcover as when Im physically in "land cover" I have a reasonable idea of what Im in, and on a larger scale I refer to either electronic or printed maps. ( Off Arc9 or Map Toaster. for example) . The inability to switch off land cover is a real issue by clogging up a visually small screen. Gary...what is different, programme wise, that the switch off feature is disabled by Ver 3.03? To have a "clear" land cover layer may be a resoultion but to simply switch off would be really great. ie use the Garmin features.
Regards

Hi Dave,
I've posted a reply in another topic, where this has been noted.

Hopefully some of the customisations that you can download might make the problem a lot less obvious. Several people have expressed a preference for the 'lighter solid' version. See if that helps.
