If you have a non-x GPS such as a 60C, and have the NZ Open GPS maps installed, the topo POI (Points of Interest) will not appear automatically.

However, you can still search for them. If you do a FIND/All POI - only the NZOGPS POI will appear. However, if you wait for it to finish searching, you can then press MENU, and 'Select Map','NZ Topo'. You can then find all nearby POI on the topo maps. You can also then press MENU and 'Nearest Containing' to POI containing certain words - such as hut.
